T Guide user privacy policy

Whether you are a theatre enthusiast or curious, we thank you for accessing T Guide. We want you to know about the nature, scope and purposes of the processing we perform on the data you share with us through the T Guide app (hereafter 'T Guide' or 'the APP').
This policy applies to all users who register on the T Guide APP, whether you are a spectator, a general or specific professional (PRO), i.e. a show-runner PRO or a theatre manager PRO. T Guide provides spectators with an up-to-date show diary of selected content and professional PRO users with the possibility to benefit from dedicated content, claim a show in the diary or a space to update and manage its content directly and the possibility to enrich the diary with new shows.
The processing of your personal data, as a spectator, generic and specific PRO user (first name, last name, mobile phone number, date of birth and email address, profession in case you identify yourself as a professional) will be carried out exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR") and the applicable legislation.
Any processing of personal data for which there is no legal provision will only take place with your consent.

3. The data we process
If you have chosen not to register for the APP, we do not retain any data and your experience is limited to
viewing trailers in random mode. Whenever a viewer registers and accesses T Guide, either as a general or
specific viewer or PRO user, we collect information and data to improve
the experience of browsing and enjoying the content on T Guide and using the services that the APP
offers. T Guide also provides additional services to specific PRO subjects, services governed by our
Terms of Use and Terms of Purchase (where the option to subscribe to services is activated).
The registration and usage data of our registered users, as well as any other parties whose data may be
processed in paper and/or electronic form, is stored on the servers on which the app is hosted and is
hosted in databases. From time to time, we may need to update our privacy policy and we will notify you
of these changes through a notice displayed on the app itself and/or by sending you an email to the
address you provided during registration. This will ensure that you are always aware of any changes in the
way we process your personal data.
Some of your data will be processed on the basis of T Guide's legitimate interest in order
to provide you with a personalised experience, in particular for the processing of analytical
data within the app (unless your consent is required), for the purpose of improving and
monitoring app performance, account activity, preventing fraudulent or other malicious activity, monitoring errors and providing you with the services governed by the Terms of Purchase.
In addition, we may share certain
information with professional users for internal statistical and sales tracking purposes. We
may disclose your personal information to our business partners and technology partners who
assist us in providing the services offered through T Guide, processing transactions, fulfilling
requests for information, receiving and sending communications, updating marketing lists,
analyzing data, providing support services, or other tasks from time to time. Our partners will
only use your information to the extent necessary to perform their functions. We do not disclose
information about identifiable individuals, but we may provide anonymous aggregate information about
our users in order to make our APP content visible to a wider potential audience than the followers
already acquired by PRO users. We may then use the personally identifiable information collected from
you to enable us to fulfil the desires of our PRO users by showing them users who follow them, share
their material, save shows to lists and follow the theatres. The sole purpose is to improve the usability of
the APP and personalise the experience. Finally, we share your data in order to provide you with the
services governed by our Terms of Use and Terms of Purchase (where the option to subscribe to services
is activated).
We may also ask you for proof of identity through the presentation of a suitable document to check the
veracity of what you claim, when you request, as a PRO user, to change your status from generic to
specific PRO user, that is, when you ask to be associated with a published show or with the management
team of a theatre in the APP in order to update and manage its content. To facilitate the management of
your registration and enhance your experience with T Guide, we will collect and store all personal
information you provide while registering in the app and all personal information generated while
browsing and using T Guide. To share content, we offer to do this with your address book contacts but
we do not store that data, we check if the contact is registered in the app and if so, we send a notification
of your sharing. If not registered, you can share content outside the APP. In general, we use your data to
analyze your behavior, preferences, habits, geographical location, favorite artists and events in order
to optimize your experience on the platform (such as personalized recommendations and relevant
content).
In addition, we may record email communications between you and T Guide and store them separately.
We use your personal data to manage and provide you with the service of the app, communicate with you
via email, messaging, in-app notifications related to your interests, including reminders for events in
which you are interested. The goal is to provide you as a user, both as a viewer and a professional, with a
higher level of content, services, marketing and support. For example, we may use your information to
administer your account or to send you information about events of interest to you. We also track
individual trends and demographics of the events you attend and the artists or venues you are interested
in, which allows us to offer you personalized suggestions for related events and artists. In addition, we use
the data for operational purposes, such as providing customer support and responding to enquiries, to
send you important information regarding our services, updates, security alerts and support and
administrative messages, and, where necessary and appropriate under any applicable law, to enforce our
rights or respond appropriately to requests from law enforcement and any other governmental and/or
administrative authorities.
We process your personal data under the following legal bases: 1) your consent; 2) to perform a contract
you have entered into; 3) our legitimate interest or that of other third parties, including to improve the
performance of the APP and enhance your experience with it; 4) to comply with a legal obligation.
You may revoke your consent at any time by sending an e-mail to dpo@tguide.me, this will not affect the
lawfulness of any processing that has taken place prior to the revocation of consent.
We may send you marketing communications by e-mail. When you register, we will ask you if you
consent to receive the T Guide newsletter (no spam!). This means you consent to (1) receive updates on
T Guide news, which may include updates on events, artists, theatres, new features, offers and more;
and (2) participate in surveys, tests and more. You can opt-in to marketing communications when you
register on the APP. If you change your mind about receiving any marketing emails from us, you can
change your preferences from your profile.
Your personal data is currently stored in the EEA. When your personal data is transferred to third parties
(suppliers or partners), we take care that the level of protection of personal data in the EEA is always
guaranteed.
